But in my experience, they rarely become the memories people cherish years later.

Instead, people remember the first family dinner around the kitchen table.

They remember watching children race to choose their bedrooms.

They remember decorating for the holidays, welcoming new neighbors, celebrating birthdays, or simply enjoying a quiet evening on the front porch.

That’s when something changes.

A house quietly becomes a home.

One of the greatest privileges of being a REALTOR® is witnessing the beginning of those stories.

I may be there on closing day, but I know the most meaningful moments haven’t happened yet.

They’re still ahead.

For a first-time buyer, it’s unlocking the front door for the very first time.

For a growing family, it’s finally having room for everyone to gather.

For military families, it’s creating stability in the middle of change.

For empty nesters, it might be discovering a home that’s perfectly suited for life’s next season.

Every move represents something different.

Every milestone deserves to be celebrated.

Why I Created Life Happens Here

When I began thinking about what I wanted this publication to become, I realized it wasn’t really about real estate.

It was about people.

Real estate simply provides the backdrop.

The laughter.

The celebrations.

The traditions.

The everyday moments that eventually become lifelong memories.

That’s why I chose the name Life Happens Here.

Because every home tells a story that’s still being written.

My Role Isn’t Just Finding a House

My goal has never been simply helping clients buy or sell property.

I want every person I work with to feel informed, confident, and excited about whatever comes next.

Sometimes that means explaining contracts.

Sometimes it’s walking through neighborhoods.

Sometimes it’s simply listening while someone talks through a big life decision.

Buying or selling a home is rarely just about the house itself.

It’s about the life waiting on the other side of the front door.

Home Is Different for Everyone

No two families define home exactly the same way.

For some, it’s a backyard where children can play.

For others, it’s being close to grandparents.

It might be finding a neighborhood with great schools.

Living near the water.

Having room for holiday dinners.

Or simply creating a quiet place to begin again.

Whatever home looks like for you, I believe it deserves thoughtful planning and genuine celebration.
